Meet The Team

Natalie Patterson, LPC, NCC
Natalie is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and nationally certified counselor (NCC). She completed her BA in Psychology from Clemson University and her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. Natalie has worked with clients of all ages dealing with issues such as grief, trauma, depression, anxiety, and life transitions. She draws on a variety of therapeutic approaches, but first and foremost takes a client-centered approach, believing that there is not a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy.
Prior to becoming a counselor, Natalie worked as director of a local non-profit and trained over 500 adults to become mentors to students in local schools. For more than a decade, she has been involved with organizations that work with underserved populations. She is also a certified ACEs (Adverse Childhood Experiences) trainer and is passionate about presenting brain-based research in a way that is understandable to all. When your trauma symptoms leave you asking, “what is wrong with me?,” Natalie will draw on her teaching experience to help you see how and why your stress response is perfectly normal, and work with you to find a way forward.
If your trauma is too difficult to talk about, Natalie also has training in Accelerated Resolution Therapy, an evidence-based approach which helps you to keep the knowledge of your event while losing the pain associated with it.
